South Miami/Dadeland Condo Buildings

South Miami, which is a suburban city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, encompasses approximately 2.5 square miles and is commonly known as the City of Pleasant Living.  Located three miles south of Downtown Miami, it borders the main campus of the University of Miami, and is adjacent to the cities of Coral Gables, Pinecrest, and Dadeland.

The City of South Miami, incorporated in 1927, has its own city government, two major hospitals - South Miami Hospital and Larkin Hospital, shopping, in particular, The Shops at Sunset Place, movie theaters, and a variety of dining experiences, all offering a hometown ambience.

Dadeland is a residential and business neighborhood located in Southwest Miami-Dade County, between SW 80th Street to the north, US1 to the east, and the Palmetto Expressway to the west. As a residential neighborhood, it is very young and offers mid-size condos constructed in the mid-2000s, with "on-the-street" retail shops and restaurants.  Dadeland Mall is a large enclosed mall complex of 185 specialty stores, anchored by Florida's largest Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, the country's largest The Limited/Express, and JC Penney.  It has a Food Court and the two largest restaurants are Villagio and The Cheesecake Factory.

From Dadeland, the North Station and South Station offer commuters the convenience of Miami Metrorail, which takes approximately 20 minutes to Downtown Miami.
